This on-line Citizen Complaint Form provides a way for citizens to make us aware of any allegation of misconduct by a Birmingham Police officer. If you have a complaint of misconduct by a BPD officer, please complete the form below and click on ‘Submit.’ Please be as accurate and detailed as you can.

The most appropriate person to file a complaint is the person who experienced or witnessed the alleged police misconduct. Anonymous complaints are accepted. However, it is best for our investigators to be able to contact any involved citizen to ensure a complete investigation is conducted.
