Failaka is an island located near the mainland Kuwait. It is an important tourist area - with an equipped Wanasa Beach, ancient Greek ruins, a camel farm and numerous reminders of the Iraqi occupation of 1991 left for the historical purposes.

Hotel Failaka Heritage Villageis the only hotel on the island.The government has big plans for developing the island. It will be very sad, as there are not so many secluded places left in the Persian Gulf.
